History
Originating in the early 1980's by hauling Toyota vehicles to
Texas dealers using 10 transports, GSTTS first operated as a
direct service to Gulf States Toyota, a Houston-based automotive
distributor. Our company and customer base have grown to support
transportation services across a rapidly expanding territory
that includes Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma,
New Mexico, Tennessee and Kentucky. Our terminals are located
in Houston, Albuquerque, Gavin, AR, Midlothian, TX and Canton,
MS.
Our current customer base consists of Gulf States Toyota,
Inc., Toyota Motor Sales, Inc., including its Lexus brand,
and Nissan Motor Company, including its Infinity brand. We
maintain approximately 270 trucks and employ 300 drivers.
At GSTTS, we believe that obeying the law is the minimum standard.

These behaviors are regularly discussed and prominently displayed
throughout our terminal locations. To emphasize their significance,
Business Conduct Program workshops are held annually and cover
a variety of topics including diversity, personal accountability
and maintaining a harassment-free workplace.
Communication & "Speaking-up"
An "open-door" environment exists among associates, management,
Human Resources and our Legal Department. The Associate Helpline
is available as a confidential and anonymous avenue to clarify
a policy, ask a question, make a suggestion or report suspected
violations of law, policy or procedure. The Helpline is also

Community
We recognize our corporate responsibility to the community. This
is why our corporate headquarters are environmentally and socially
sensitive, and why our associates are encouraged to and readily
participate in programs such as Highway Watch®, the roadway sector's
national safety and security program.
Environment
Our headquarters, located in northwest Houston and built in
September 2006, are certified by the U.S. Green Building
Council as a LEED facility (Leadership in Energy
& Environmental Design). The facility was designed, built
and operates with five key considerations:

Volunteerism
Highway Watch® is nationally organized for the transportation
industry and allows drivers to get involved in national security
and public safety toward a mission that "no commercial vehicle
is used as a weapon." Drivers volunteer for participation
and are trained to report suspicious activity on the road
to government authorities.
